My recently uploaded deviant shows my 3D model of a radio I'm making. Well today I finally finished programming the CNC router to cut it out and ran a test piece in pine. Turned out brilliantly. So happy with that I used my main piece of Panga Panga next. What a disater. It cut the inner groove out fine. But when cutting the outer edge, it caught on fire many times! They where only small fires mainly smoking and smoldering (whilst destroying my work) so they never set the alarms off but we wasn't expecting it. Luckily I was watching over the work otherwise it could have got much worse.

We think the main problem was the tool was blunt and was just creating loads of friction. So to save time gluing all the wood together again, I'm using another wood which name has completly sliped my mind

Anyway I'm cutting it out tommorow so we should see what happens. I'll have photos uploaded soon.
